Studio DiaryPosted by Danny Rexon 30 Oct, 2009 21:35:39 Allright, all the lead vocals for the new album are now done and Andy is currently doing solo guitars (I think he's about halfway done). I have to tell you: (Caps-lock haters beware) IM SO FUCKING PROUD OF THESE SONGS! THIS ALBUM WILL ROCK!
At this point all Drums and Bass = Done, the guitars are in
progress, There's also alot of backingvocals being recorded at the same
time.
We're getting more tired everyday now, mostly becouse
all we eat is hotdogs and sandwiches and also becouse we are in the
studio every minute of the day =D
I left stockholm early trhis morning, and caught the train straight to work. It feels wierd leave halfway thru the process, but I guess my work was done. Anyway when I left the guitars were coming along awesomely, so I'm not worried at all. Just a little anxious to hear the results.
Anyway, I'm typing from work now, knowing the album is in capable hands. I'll just contend myself with waiting.
Studio DiaryPosted by Luke Rivano 22 Oct, 2009 02:44:31 Just come back from pulling an all- niter in the studio... computer crashes included In the end Andy had to sit in and engineer the last track cause Laney needed to keep his head clear for editing todays takes, witch he's probably still doing the poor fucker! Anyway, between the two of us me and Laney emptied a box of hidden rock shiraz (endorsement anyone!?) and I think we needed it! The Bass part is done now and I'm confident I've done what I can to make this the killer Album it deserves to be! I'll be in stockholm for a few more days and then it's back to life as a civilian for a while... not long I hope!
Everything is going according to plan, Joey's done with the drums, Luke
is halfway done with the bass. Me and Danny are doing alot of
backingvocals while Luke is working.
Studio DiaryPosted by Luke Rivano 20 Oct, 2009 23:26:16 Laid down five tracks today, and the tension and nerve is finally lettin go (beer helps). Most of it sound great, some of it sounds awesome! Pulled a long day today, and I wanted to keep going, but Laney said his head was full (he was probably sick of me). The goal is to finish the bess part tomorow and start starting on the guitar setup. Meanwhile, Andy and Danny have been doing backup vocals in a back room. I've heard a little, and it sounds cool as hell.
